Notice:  Boating in Cove must be kept to headway speed.  If you are on the lake and facing beach 3 there is an island on your right with a cove area behind it.  This area is a protected area for nesting loons.  In a 1995 agreement with the DQE we agreed to keeping boat traffic in this area at a no wake headway speed.  Please be sure you slow down when boating in this area.

                                              Boating Licenses

NH Boating License is a requirement when boating in the state of New Hampshire.  Operators of Jet Ski's, Motor Boats and other Watercraft need to be at least 16 years of age and have a license in their possession when operating a watercraft.  Please visit the New Hampshire Marine Police site to make sure you are operating within the requirements of the New Hampshire laws so we can all have safe boating!

If you encounter any issues with the Water System you can call the Water Answering Service at 603-364-5770.  Leave a message on this line regarding your water issues only.

If you want to leave a message for one of the Board Members you can email questions to the board at questions@altonshores.com.
